About Us

About Ahava House

Ahava is where the heart is…

Ahava Living’s priority is to Love God, by way of Loving others. We provide loving homes for women in recovery or at risk based on a peer support model with on-site CCAR-trained Recovery Coaches. We are faith-driven to assist women in or seeking recovery to establish a sound foundation from which they can begin to repurpose their afflictions. We support multiple pathways and acknowledge that Recovery is multidimensional and requires a holistic approach.

Reaching Out to the Sun

"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future"

-Proverbs 31:25 New Living Translation

Services

Our services

According to SAMHSA, the definition of Recovery is a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential, which includes four major dimensions.

It is our vision for each woman to address the four dimensions, while with Ahava Living to explore their purpose according to God’s will.

Health

Happiness is where Ahava is

Ahava Living serves as a bridge to a healthier abstinent lifestyle. Ahava Living teaches women the tools needed to manage their Recovery, including their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Health: Overcoming or managing one’s disease(s) or symptoms and making informed, healthy choices that support physical and emotional well-being.

Purpose

There's no place like Ahava

What tore us down became our aspiration... Through our experiences, we are here to help others to live a purpose-driven life. We understand that each woman has an individual journey to identifying and exploring their recovery pathway and purpose. We are here to assist and encourage women to discover their God given gifts for the greater purpose of serving God.

Purpose:  Conducting meaningful daily activities and having the independence, income, and resources to participate in society.

Community

Ahava means Love:

We are Family

Ahava Living encourages women to connect and create long-term relationships and friendships that foster love, hope, inspiration, and accountability. We connect women to resources in the larger community and assist women to establish a sense of belonging, which many of us have sought through active addiction, abusive relationships, or other false pretenses.

Community: Having relationships and social networks that provide support, friendship, love, and hope.

Home

A Place to Call Home

Exclusively for women, Ahava Living provides a safe-haven and a supportive family. Ahava Living is a home for women to build new memories and recreate their stories. Our women, together, have created a energized and inspiring HOME for themselves and future women to come. Our homes cultivate a "Good to Be Home" feeling and portray our new truth as God sees it.

Home: Having a stable and safe place to live.
